Dual Enrollment Partnership Between MCPS and Montgomery College (MC)
Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College (MC) have partnered to offer college ready high school students with opportunities to earn college credits while fulfilling their graduation requirements. Current high school students may be eligible for Early College or Jump Start to College for Dual Enrollment.
Early College
Students who enroll in the Early College program must apply the fall of their Sophomore year and will attend ALL classes their Junior and Senior years at Montgomery College. Students in Early College will earn an Associate's Degree along with their high school diploma. More information can be found about Early College by visiting the following pages:

The Early College Application deadline was November 3, 2023.
Students completing the Early College Application by November 3, 2023 deadline will be informed of eligibility status from MCPS on or around December 4, 2023
Eligible students will receive specific details on requirements to participate and full application process and deadlines
Eligible students will complete the Montgomery College Admissions Application by December 4, 2023
All students who properly submit an Early College and Montgomery College Application will be considered a candidate for acceptance and will be notified of their status on or around January 22, 2024

Jump Start to College
Jump Start to College is the MCPS and MC general Dual Enrollment program that allows all eligible high schoolers to earn college credits while completing their high school graduation requirements.
